I’ve been working in marketing for a while now, about 6 years off the top of my head. Over that time I have had varied marketing roles, but they’ve all included some digital/online aspect. These roles have really given me a buzz about digital in business and it’s an area I really want to progress in and learn as much as I can.
I’m a bit of an evangelist of digital at my current workplace, hence the reason I’ve started this blog. Not only to document all the digital stuff I learn and discover along the way, but in the hope that others will find it a little bit useful too.
I’m not an expert, but I’m an online enthusiast that loves to talk about anything digital.
Outside of work I love sport, particularly football. I play in goal if anyone needs a keeper. I’m currently on a hiatus from football but last couple of seasons (2012 – 2014) I played for the mighty Tunbridge Wells FC. Here are a few shots of me in action and the team.
I read somewhere that it’s good to put something interesting about yourself on these ‘About’ blog pages. Well our team was luck enough to make it to the FA Vase final at Wembley last year (2013). Unfortunately we lost in the final 2-1 against Spennymoore Town FC, that didn’t take anything away from the amazing experience we had on the day and the journey we took to the hallowed turf of Wembley. The match is below if you fancy watching it.
